up! meest betrouwbare ‘supermini’ volgens J.D. Power klanttevredenheidsonderzoek

The respected American market research institute J.D. Power named the Volkswagen up! the winner in the "Supermini" category of this year's customer satisfaction survey. Thomas Zahn, Head of Sales and Marketing Germany of the Volkswagen passenger cars brand, accepted the prize this evening at the International Motor Show (IAA) in Frankfurt.

The results of the largest Vehicle Dependability Study (VDS) collected among German drivers are based on an online survey that interviewed around 14,000 vehicle owners on their experience with their vehicles over the last two years. The questions in the VDS study of J.D. Power Reports are broken down into the categories of quality/reliability, attractiveness and maintenance costs. All the reviews are weighted and result in a ranking in which the brand or the model with the lowest incidence of errors emerges victorious. In the class of "Superminis", this was the Volkswagen up!.

J.D. Power is seen as one of the most renowned market research institutes in the world. Since 2002, the annual satisfaction survey has also been conducted in Germany.
